Jeremiah "Jay" Ratliff (born August 29, 1981 in St Petersburg,Florida) is an American football nose tackle in the NFL. He played college football at Auburn before being selected as the 10th pick in the seventh round (224th overall pick) of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys. He made his first NFL start on October 9, 2005.[1] Ratliff became the starting nose tackle in 2007 and signed a $20.5 million 5 year contract extension on December 14, 2007 to stay with the Cowboys through the 2012-2013 season.[2]
