Jay "Mad Dog" Michaels is a Canadian broadcaster who co-hosts the Mad Dog and Billie morning show on 99.9 Mix FM in Toronto.
From 1999 to 2005 he was a morning host at KISS 92 FM and CHFI in Toronto. His first co-host at KISS was Daryn Jones. With Jones' departure to focus on television, he was paired with Billie Holiday. After a year-long absence from the dial, Mad Dog and Billie returned to the Toronto airwaves on August 8, 2006.
He also hosted a music program called Chart Attack on YTV and served as a judge on the second Canadian season of Popstars.
In 2007, Michaels became the public address announcer for the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League for all their home games at Ricoh Coliseum.
Born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Michaels attended Bonnie Doon Composite High School in Edmonton, Alberta and is married to Shari and father to sons Ashton and Duston.
