[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:JawidSharif.jpg

Image:JawidSharif.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Ethnicity does not belong in lead

Ethnicity does not belong in lead. Wikipedia:Manual of Style (biographies)#Opening paragraph Unsourced ethnic statements do not belong in the article. Ethnic data is inherently controversial. (WikiProject Ethnic groups says: "Let's be clear: ethnicity is a minefield.") "All material that is challenged or likely to be challenged needs a source." and "Biographies of living persons should be sourced with particular care, for legal and ethical reasons. All contentious material about living persons must cite a reliable source." Wikipedia:Citing sources. That article goes on to say, "If you find unsourced or poorly sourced contentious material about a living person—whether in an article or on a talk page—remove it immediately." (emphasis in original). Definitely, once ethnic data is removed or contested by another editor it must be properly sourced before reintroduction. I have removed the unsourced ethnic material from the lead sentence. --Bejnar (talk) 05:08, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Little Bastard, i am myself from Germany and Jawid Sharif live next to my appartment and i know him from my childhood. I have a lot to do with him afternoons. I also know to which ethnicity he belongs. Just because he sang some two or three songs in Pakhtu does not make him to an PigToon. Also Howaida, Salma, Taher and many other Persians sang sometimes in Pakhtu to get also their attention. His full name is Mohammad Ahmad Jawid Sharif, he is from Kabul, from Karte Parwan, a full Tajik district. Addition to that, he himself knows to which ethnicity he belongs (Tajik/Persian) and he know his own culture and trditions. He is not a member of those pigs who are practizing the wild, savage torko-mongolic customs called PigToonwali. He is not close to Awghans. I will ask him today to write some information about himself and about his ethnicity.--84.59.203.141 (talk) 12:25, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
