Employment Law is the area of his specialisation born in a textile industrial area of Konkan popularly known as Bhiwandi City. Involve in high stake and complex cases in England covering race, religion, sex, disability, age and sexual orientation discrimination cases.

Married to a Konkani girl called Khushreen daughter of Mohiddin Patankar a well known landlord of Nyari (Ratnagiri) and had two children called Uthman and Khalil.

Family history the biggest landlord of Bhiwandi covering 47 acres of land. At present Mr Patel owned 13 acres of farm based in Palakhane and also ingherit family estate Patel Compound. Mr Mohiddin Patel was his great great grandfather who owned nearly 47 acres of land in the actual Bhiwandi city during olden days. He had two sons Amir Saheb Patel and Mia Saheb Patel who died at very young age. Mr Amir Saheb Patel has three sons called Gulam Mohammed Patel, Gulam Ahmed Patel and Gulam Nabi Patel and one daughter called Fatima (still alive). Mr Gulam Nabi Patel had thirteen sons out of which only three survive namely Mr Khalil Patel (died: on Friday 25th June 2005), Amir Saheb Patel and Siraj Ahmed Patel. Mr Khalil Patel is the father of Mr Javed Patel. Mr Patel had six brothers and one sister called Zakir, Shabana, Saleem, Hajimiyan, Javed, Naved and Sakib.
