ADZU-SOM pioneered a curriculum in the Philippines that combines competency, problem based learning and community oriented medical education.

The ADZU-SOM curriculum was initiated and developed around the philosophy of Problem Based Learning and Community Oriented Medical Education. The students are exposed to real or simulated problems arranged around themes of learning.
