"Iqbal was sentenced to be strangled 100 times, then cut into 100 pieces and put in acid."

That is inaccurate. The judge on the case said that he'd like to enforce such a sentence but could only sentence Iqbal to death by hanging.

I found some sources for this before, but must not have included them. Perhaps because they were dubious. Any court records, contemporary news clips, lists of victims would be useful. Rich Farmbrough 22:11, 7 September 2005 (UTC)

There was a detailed story on Javed Iqbal in the Herald, though I have no idea when it was published... gimme a couple of days... will try and look it up. Hulleye 09:49, 28 October 2005 (UTC)

Is there a source for the sentence "He wished to point out the terrible lives that street children live."? If not, I'd like to delete it, but I don't want to be too hasty.24.131.12.228 02:48, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
