Javier Jose Mendoza (born 1978) is a conductor of Mexican descent, though born and trained in America.

Mendoza trained at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana under Prof. Henry Leck. He completed graduate study at The University of New Mexico in Albuquerque under Prof. Bradley Ellingboe and Maestro Roger Melone of the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra, before completing additional training at Accademia Chigiana Musicale in Siena, Italy under Maestro Gianluigi Gelmetti.
Mendoza is Music Director and Conductor of the Chicago Arts Orchestra, a professional chamber orchestra in Chicago. He is also Music Director and Conductor of the Metropolis Youth Symphony in residence at the Metropolis Performing Arts Center and the Western Suburban Youth Symphony Philharmonic Orchestra. He is also music teacher at St. Alphonsus Ligouri School in Prospect Heights.
