Francisco Javier Díaz Menéndez is the current guitar player for the metal band Edén.

Having started already in the big world of Musica with people from other musical styles, in the year 1994 he formed his first rock band with the name "Notredame".

After several months are recordings of two EPs (in the year 1994 and '95). The first one "Into the fire" and the second one "In god, we trust," which had interesting criticizes magazine as HEAVY ROCK. After several changes in the training and achieve stability, he recorded his first album with this band in the year 1997 and with them he started a small tour at the national level. Before recording the next album and seeing that there wer already some different points of view (Musically), he to dissolve the band.

In 1998 he went to be a part of the band "WarCry" before the vocalist Victor was in the ranks of Avalanch. Later Victor would leave to join Avalanch and the band had dissolved (but not before he had played live). For a while he played with people and bands of very distant and varied styles. Later he formed the band "Edén".
