Java Remote Desktop (jrdesktop) is a cross-platform open source software based on the Java Virtual Machine that enables remote viewing and control of a PC.

Jrdesktop can take screenshots, transfer mouse and keyboard events, transfer files, and compress data, among other features. It uses a secure connection between the viewer and the server with SSL/TLS.
