JaVale McGee is the starting center for the University of Nevada. After his sophomore campaign, McGee decided to hire an agent and declare for the 2008 NBA Draft. His father, George Montgomery, played basketball professionally for the Portland Trail Blazers. Also his mother, Pamela McGee, was a USC standout and WNBA star.
