"We Are Robin Hood!" Edit
Thank you for your message. I understand that I went about challenging the Robin Hood episode article in the wrong way, and appreciate that you (or someone) has now updated the page to reflect the fact that it contains unsupported statements. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.140.7.94 (talk) 16:20, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi. You recently reverted an edit by 163.153.64.30 (It is not one that I made. I've been monitoring the anonymous edits from that range of addresses), and warned them about vandalism. I am not familiar with the series, but given that the section is titled "777 Tools of Hell", could it be possible that the edit was valid? --NERIC-Security (talk) 19:53, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
- Anytime. Thanks for taking a second look.--NERIC-Security (talk) 20:02, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

I added a quote which was removed, my source for Lise Meitner's quotes is (Cornwell, Hitler's Scientists, 411) following:
- You all worked for Nazi Germany. And you tried to offer only a passive resistance. Certainly, to buy off your conscience you helped here and there a persecuted person, but millions of innocent human beings were allowed to be murdered without any kind of protest being uttered... [it is said that] first you betrayed your friends, then your children in that you let them stake their lives on a criminal war - and finally that you betrayed Germany itself, because when the war was already quite hopeless, you did not once arm yourselves against the senseless destruction of Germany.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.23.63.22 (talk) 20:41, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

I'd like to know your criteria for deleting edited info. What source is backing up the claim "h posses exceptional talent on and off the floor"? or also know as "the Show"?
what is your personal problem? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.143.158.98 (talk) 20:27, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- First of all, thanks for pointing that out. I've edited the article to reflect that. I didn't read the entire article, only the changes that you kept making. However, you have got to be kidding me that you truly believe your addition of, "Hails from Orillia, Ontario, Canada! One of the Boyz! He stink at poker tho! (stop deleting this!)" is encyclopedic material? It's fine to put in his hometown (with a source), but I won't even bother addressing the rest of that.Jauerback (talk) 20:47, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
James LeBron Insulting My Race
Good sir.
Dragons are held as sacred as Jesus, if not God Himself, in China, my homeland.
We Chinese have the very Blood of Dragons in our veins.
With all due respect, I hope you're not proposing that what James LeBron did wasn't an evil insult to the pride of our race? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Regretful Wombat (talk • contribs) 14:17, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not suggesting anything about LeBron James' actions, however you definitely added defamatory comments to the article that are WP:OR and extremely WP:POV and would be considered libel per WP:BLP. Jauerback (talk) 14:27, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Zychlin
Hi Jauerback,
I created the Zychlin site in the first place! I didn't understand why information about the city was added to an entry for the Hasidic dynasty! I was trying to separate the information, the city info from the dynasty. The changes I made where to the site that I created. I don't know what authority you have but threatening me for changing a page that I created is insulting to say the lest, especially when other people added information that has no relevance to the page that I was creating. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yatziv (talk • contribs) 18:05, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- You were deleting large portions of the article without an edit summary, so there is no way to tell what your intentions were. Also, just because you created the article, does not make it yours. Did you discuss any of your deletions on the article's talk page first so a consensus could be reached? Perhaps some other editors(s) felt the additions were relevant. I'm not here to judge that. However, all I saw were mass deletions of text without explanation. I reverted those. Jauerback (talk) 18:51, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Thnx for the offer
Thnx for offering to help. I was not having issues editing. I was trying to erase the city information from the article I posted. After reading your letter, it does seem to be better to have created a page for the city too. For your information, more people would be interested in the dynasty then some hole in the wall town from Poland. LOL Anyway Thanks again
As for the help, I would like to add a picture in the Grand Rabbi's section how would you go about doing it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yatziv (talk • contribs) 00:55, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your message. I'm running into problems with the program that I am using when I try to do both a roll back and a warn at the same time (if the roll back fails due to someone else reverting it first, the software still puts up a duplicated user warning, one from the successful roll back, and one from me). Any suggestions as to software that works well for you? Igoldste (talk) 23:12, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I figured the evidence of sockpuppetry was enough based on what he said in his edits. Useight (talk) 17:20, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yep, I noticed that. I filed a vandalism report right after, since sockpuppet reports aren't processed as quickly. I figured that with such a small number of contributions to review, the vandalism report would suffice. Then I noticed the note in the vandalized revision belatedly and reported it as further evidence. :) —Erik (talk • contrib) - 17:30, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

What do you think about becoming an admininstrator? I am willing to nominate you. Let me know. Useight (talk) 17:29, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
- Looking at your statistics, I think you may be ready now. If you would like, we could go through a few questions first to see how good your handle on policy and procedures is. Or I could just set up a nomination page on RFA and we can see how it goes. Whatever you want to do. Useight (talk) 01:06, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

RFA Nomination
I have gone ahead and created Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Jauerback with my nomination on it. To get the ball rolling, just accept the nomination, answer the questions, and transclude the RFA onto WP:RFA. Useight (talk) 23:00, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- It was kind of ironic, I saw that you were actively editing, so I went and created the RFA so you'd be available to accept and answer questions, but the time that I created the page (22:54) was exactly the same time you stopped editing and took a break for a couple hours and weren't online a couple minutes later when I sent you the message to tell you it was ready. So, yeah, that was a weird coincidence. Useight (talk) 01:58, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
!Voting during nomination
I think you should be fine commenting in other RFAs, just don't !vote support in all of them by copying and pasting them all in 2 minutes. That would look suspiciously like canvassing. And don't mention that you're concurrently in RFA. Other than those two guidelines, go right ahead. Useight (talk) 03:29, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

article for deletion
according to faihlessthewonderboy, these are non-notable so what is it really that you think makes them notable. i have a quote from him saying that myspace and blogs are not acceptable and that amy dumas career outside music contributes nothing to her band page yet it is still written about and their album page lists absolutely no references and they have no label, if you can not prove notability then i am truly being discriminated, i hope you have a good answer for yourself and faithlessthewondeboy because he knows know i have him backed into a corner, i am a pro with the internet, you cannot fool me so please explain notability. --SLICKFINGERS (talk) 03:54, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- My reply.
i really think you should state why it is notable since we are all about proof and reference around here, because according to being notable as a band.. they have accomplished nothing. --SLICKFINGERS (talk) 04:00, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- My reply.
haha, trying to challenge me, lame. i'll do it i already have the proof and the quotes from an administrator himself saying what is not considered a reference, which proves this wikipedia is purely based off the current administrator's opinion and not the regulations of wikipedia. nice one guys. --SLICKFINGERS (talk) 04:08, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- My reply.
no i get it, but you guys don't get it... i do not want them to be deleted but you have not proven to me what criteria they meet, according to the words of the other admin, they have acquired nothing, and the page i was working on was fully functional with perfect links and references. i need to know why there page is notable and the one i was making not. --SLICKFINGERS (talk) 04:17, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- My reply.
So, if i submit a page that is notable and meets the criteria with verifiable links... there is no way you can go with your opinion on it and have it removed since it will follow the rules and as long as the references are not from blogs or myspace... or does myspace prove to be valid since 4 references on the luchagors page are from myspace blogs? --SLICKFINGERS (talk) 04:34, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- My reply.
i understand what you are saying but i still have to go back on point to say that according to what bands need to pass eligibility on wikipedia the luchagors have not one of them at all so i still don't know why their page exists when the page i put up will be exactly the same and more with better references, i tried putting mine up but it wouldn't be allowed for whatever reason. --SLICKFINGERS (talk) 04:46, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- My reply.
haha that is too funny, my references were myspace because i didn't exactly know how to do the wiki pages before but i can source every piece of word on the page, if i do that it should be notable. but... the fact that someone in her band is known is irrelevant because according to the other admin he said that the person in our band christy hemme is very well known for everything she does but the fact that she has not been noted as a singer means our page is not notable but how will she ever get noticed as a singer if we can not write about her? her page now mentions the fact that she is in a band... i was the one who figured, what the hell now they mentioned the band i might as well write everything about it since it has been mentioned, but you are wrong if the singer of that other bands gives them notability because she notable as a wrestler just like our singer. so what else can you tell me? --SLICKFINGERS (talk) 04:58, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
ok mr. professional, aren't you supposed to help me? i understand that you can not prove they are notable because no one can because they are not according to the rules i have read 3 times... i just want to understand what asserts to be notable means... like they could be telling the truth or what? come on just be straight with me. it really does just seem like your opinion and not rules, because according to the rules i would have deleted them as an administrator for not following ONE guideline. --SLICKFINGERS (talk) 05:09, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
Re: January 2008
Sorry, my bad. I saw the arv button, as I use Twinkle and I thought that was for reporting a user who continued vandalizing articles. But, I'll keep your comments in mind. However, I have a question; if the user continues to vandalize articles, as he did to the previous articles that I had to revert his edits, does that qualify him for a block? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 04:14, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
Just to clear things up
SLICKFINGERS and I never even discussed the article in question. He's trying to twist my words to make it seem like I said that page should be deleted (I'm not saying it should or shouldn't, I've barely looked at it. By the way, congrats on your RfA! :) faithless (speak) 04:59, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
liar... i quoted fathless saying that pages using references such as myspace and blogs are not notable... i never said he said the luchagors pages should not exist.
PROOF:
"To be honest, you're probably fighting a losing battle here. If you can provide links from reliable sources (I'm talking Rolling Stone, Spin, newspapers, Pitchfork, MTV, etc. and not Myspace, blogs, etc.), then show them to me. I'll be happy to look over them and let you know if we can make an article." -(speak) --SLICKFINGERS (talk) 05:06, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- It seems to me that regardless of your self proclaimed 'net prowess you are singularly unable to comprehend the difference between notable and reliable. Likewise you seem to be proficient at pissing off two admins simultaneously whilst managing to not understand a simple list of criteria. Add to that that in spite of your alleged web prowess you are unable to follow simple links given to you that explain every single question you have so far asked. I'm just amazed that you aren't the band's drummer with that sort of resume! --WebHamster 05:31, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
hey jack sorry about deleting it, i just thought it was in bad taste for the adminstrator: [User:WebHamster|WebHamster]] so say what he did about drummer,s (my brother being one) since it does seem a little unprofessional on his part. --SLICKFINGERS (talk) 06:03, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not an administrator, nor am I a Wikipedia professional. I don't get paid for doing this, neither do the very patient admins you've been pissing off all evening. Meanwhile as part of your obviously lacking musical experience perhaps you should go to here to see the time-honoured muso's (tongue-in-cheek) view of drummers. --WebHamster 06:14, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Deletion of Main//Pyrus DMS
I'm sorry that i commited an article that seemed to you as blatant advertising. I ensure you, this is an open-source project and there is no company behind me that makes me publish that article. I saw the article on a very similar software (alfreso) and felt that i wanted to create an article on Main//Pyrus DMS.
I would like to change the article to give it some more content. As i oriented myself in the creation of the page on the content of the alfresco page i think i'm going to get it better done. I was also thinking in editing the page frequently to get more content over time.
So please give me a chance to edit the page for a better version of the article.

Airman's Cave Reinstatement Request
-
- Ok, So I started this whole quest to have Airmen's Cave created as a wikipedia article the wrong way. I am leaving this message on all 3 admins who graciously pointed out my previous errors in my origional 3 creations and I would like to state my case to have this article re-instated.
-
-
- 1st regarding the blatant copyrite infringement. I have rewritten the article in complete to remove the copyrite problems, and even the paraphrasing I attempted in my second attempt at the article. All of the text in the current version of the article is my own, with facts pulled from relevant sources.
-
-
-
- 2nd My article was deleted based on Wikipedia:CSD#A7 which to my understanding is a policy there to prevent trivial articles. I would like to cite the following 2 sources to both prove via what I think qualify as credible sources that my article is both not trivial and that the information contained within is citable.
-
-
-
-
- My second source to cite information about the cave is from [The World Caves Database http://www-sop.inria.fr/agos-sophia/sis/DB/database.html]. If you scroll down to the United States on [this list http://www-sop.inria.fr/agos-sophia/sis/DB/countries.html] from their site you will see Airmen's Cave listed, with information including it's total length.
-
-
-
-
- 3rd My original retype of the article included information from the personal web site of Michael Wescott Loder who is accepted as one of the caves original explorers and did significant work mapping the cave. This information sadly, is not citable yet since I have not been able to find credible coverage to back up the information presented on his web site. The current write up of the Airmen's Cave article I would like to implement will not include information from this source until I find a credible and scholarly way to cite it as accurate. I would like to link 2 sites here, which are people's personal sites that though not citable, do backup in greater detail much of the information I've put forth here. I believe these to might qualify for being added as external links to allow readers to navigate to the pages and read and decide for themselves.

AIV report of 70.91.61.157.
Ya, sorry about that. I noticed the date a few seconds after I posted the report. I looked at it too quickly and thought it was today. I was about to take the request off AIV, but you had already responded. Will look more closely next time. Lazulilasher (talk) 15:03, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

I saw that, no worries, just EVERY edit the user had so far was to promote his/her website. Wildthing61476 (talk) 15:16, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
Endicott Studio
Earlier today, you deleted an article regarding the Endicott Studio. The article had been rather peculiarly edited and left in a condition which as it stood made it inappropriate for Wikipedia. The Endicott Studio is a group including several very prominent & very notable & often-major-award winning fantasy writers, and I strongly suspect someone with a grudge damaged it and then promoted its deletion. What looks like the original & valid article is still in Google's cache here [2], is there any easy way to bring it back? The Enchantress Of Florence (talk) 01:34, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

your deletion of Jerzy Janowicz
Hi there.
08:32, 31 January 2008 Jauerback (Talk | contribs) deleted "Jerzy Janowicz" (CSD A7 (Bio): Biographical article that does not assert significance)
Unfortunately, I can't tell from this, how hopeless the English version was. As one of the authors of the Polish Wikipedia version (pl:Jerzy Janowicz), I might be able to rescue this, if you show me the deleted text. Take a look at the infobox and result tables in the Polish article - even in Polish, you should be able to glean whether this young tennis player is notable enough for inclusion at this time on the English Wikipedia. He is, after all a finalist of US Open 2007 (tennis, juniors). I think I could make his biography sound enough. Best, --Mareklug talk 15:01, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

deletion of madison+main
Hello. I was notified that you deleted my page because it was "blatant advertising." I'm quite astonished that my page was actually, in fact, deleted (and not just marked for deletion), as I was still editing the page. I had used the "in use" tag at the top of my page and even when my page was marked for deletion it still said that it was also still being edited. Why was my page deleted? I fully understand the rules of "speedy deletion" but find it ridiculous that I wasn't given a chance to eliminate the "blatant advertising" from my page before it was deleted. Please, if you can, un-delete my page so that I may make it a credible encyclopedia entry.
Thank you. --Defstef (talk) 17:33, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

deletion of madison+main pt. 2
Thank you for your note and your explanation. I would very much like it if you would post the text onto a subpage for me. And I will be sure to compare my text with the text of the entries for other advertising agencies and to check out the community portal for assistance in creating a page with notability. Thank you again. --Defstef (talk) 19:43, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
