I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! --DarkEvil 14:41, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

Many thanks for encouraging your students to contribute to Wikipedia, we very much appreciate their articles. For future reference you may wish to consult Wikipedia talk:School and university projects. Overall your students have caused little disruption, though not unsurprisingly the articles they created do not show a full understanding of our formatting standards and do need some work. - SimonP 05:49, Dec 7, 2004 (UTC)

No worries. Thanks for the heads up. My students who are doing it right, are not showing up on the radar. I've actively warned students to be sure of what they're doing, as I won't take it kindly for student putting up poorly organized pages. Putting up pages is not a course requirement, and it is just a suggestion. The assignment is to build content on my mediawiki install, AS IF it was wikipedia. I'm thinking of revisions for the future. Jasonnolan 01:10, 10 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Wikimedia Canada

Hi there! I'd like to invite you to explore Wikimedia Canada, and create a list of people interested in forming a local chapter for our nation. A local chapter will help promote and improve the organization, within our great nation. We'd also like to encourage everyone to suggest projects for our national chapter to participate in. Hope to see you there!--DarkEvil 14:41, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Logo3b.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Logo3b.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:06, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
