[edit] Image Tagging Image:Untitled37.jpg

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Untitled37.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BRossow 18:44, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Eddie Byrd

An editor has nominated Eddie Byrd, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Eddie Byrd and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 21:00, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Eddie Byrd

I have declined your request for speedy deletion of the article Eddie Byrd. You requested it in line with speedy deletion criterion G7, "author requests deletion." An important part of that criterion is the clause that "the page's only substantial content was added by its author." That is not the case here. The page has been substantially edited since you created it back in November 2005. As such, G7 doesn't apply. If you think the article should be deleted, you can argue your case in the deletion discussion, as you have done. AecisBrievenbus 21:09, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

If you disagree with the content of the article, you can raise the issue on the article's talk page and in the deletion discussion. Please do not replace the content of the article with your complaints. AecisBrievenbus 21:16, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] article eddie byrd

None of the information quotes a source, much less a credible one, including my information.

If Eddie Byrd is an caucasion, how is the University of Charleston player african-american?

No information quotes any source, nor is this person famous or valid for a wikipedia entry.Jasoned (talk) 21:11, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] February 2008

Hi, the recent edit you made to Eddie Byrd has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing.
