Jason Ian Curtis is an amateur basketball player and sixth form student born february 12th 1990.

Jason was born in Kings College hospital near Peckham, London to Fiona Elizabeth Curtis(mother) and Ian Melgrove Curtis(father). His parents soon divorced and Jason and his mother subsequently moved to Leeds. From the age of 7 Jason played soccer for his local team the Seacroft WMC Colts however Jason was not naturally talented at soccer so at the age of 15 he found him self looking for a new sport. He tried his hand at Tennis and rugby but it didn't work out. So due to his height and new found love for the USA he was destined to play basketball.

Jason's favourite NBA team is the Los Angeles Lakers and his favourite player is Kobe Bryant. Jason watches every NBA match broadcasted on English Television for both entertainment and for the purpose of improving his own game. However he feels that the coverage of Basketball in England is not nearely adequate with only 3 games being shown a week.

Jason loves watching World Wrestling Entetainment and ECW and Formula one with Ferrari being his favourite team and the recently retired Michael Schumacher being his favourite driver.
He also enjoys watching the occasional film with some of his favourite movies being: The Lion King, Titanic, The Shawshank Redemption, Mr Bean the Movie, Forrest Gump, The Million Dollar Baby, Tom's Midnight Garden.
The Harry Potter series is also said to be one of his interest which directly lead to his interest in Emma Watson who plays the character Hermione Granger in the Films of the same name.
