Jason Jackson was born on the 17th April, 1974 in Fairfield Sydney, Australia) to parents Theresa and Armando Zamprogno. Jason is an Australian Entertainer also known for his work as a Michael Jackson Tribute Artist with his Tribute Show The Jackson Experience.

A tough start to life, Born two months premature, 3 pound 5 ounces, Jason needed to be confined to a humidy crib for more than a month. Suffering from Jaundice and a liver malfunction, Jason was not expected to live. Three days after Jason was born, the priest came to give him his Last Rights. Luckily, Jason survived.

Jason's strength was tested yet again, at 18 months old, doctors discovered Jason was suffering from a rare form of Bone Cancer, the only one and first to be diagnosed with this crippling disease in Australia. Jason’s doctor, Professor Marcus Vowels, AM, MD, FRACP [[1]], now retired from his Medical Director role as Head of Stem Cell Transplant Program, Australian Cord Blood Bank at Sydney Children's Hospital, tried different forms of treatments, including Chemo and radiation therapy for two years. Finally, they found a treatment that worked on Jason's Cancer, causing him to be in and out of hospital for 7 years, at the same time affecting Jason's schooling.

From a young age Jason showed a talent in performing to crowds. His first break into the industry was in 1996, as a contestant on Australian Television Network Ten's New Faces with Bert Newton, performing a dance routine to Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal.

Jason showed a passion for music from an early age. Jason has been song writing and creating catchy pop melodies ever since 12.

Performing since the age of 8 and song writing since 12, Through his musical influences; Prince, New Edition, R Kelly, Stevie Wonder and of course Michael Jackson. Jason has been able to direct his energy into song writing for himself, other artists with the chance to record his own album.

Jason’s R’n’B pop melodies, convey messages of life and love. His recorded tracks include; Five Reasons, Angelina, You Look So Good To Me, She Don’t Love Me (Like That). After Jason releasing his single "You Look So Good To Me" in 1998, he knew he had popularity amongst the fans from the Australia.

During 2007, Jason dramatically felt his fan base grow thanks to the International fans from being launched on http://www.myspace.com/jasonjacksonmusic. In 2007 Jason decided to launch his music to the world, via iTunes with the Single "All Tied Up" which was released in May 2007, on the EP titled "Through The Years. It was a successful move, gaining Jason more fans than he began with and also after entering a competiton on http://www.OurStage.com he reached the top 20 after people voted for his song.

Jason is currently working the Australian music scene in more ways than one. Jason is also a Michael Jackson Tribute Artist/Impersonator, with his Tribute show "The Jackson Experience". They have many regular gigs, not limited to performing at weddings, corporate, club and special events.
