[edit] Speed
A player with the average steal success rate has above average speed, since slow players make few steal attempts.
[edit] The ankle
It's a common misperception that Kendall's ankle was broken in 2001. Initial reports from the day of the injury indicated that this was the case, but in fact, the ankle was merely dislocated in extreme fashion, such that the intact bone was pushed through the skin without having been broken. The archives of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette[1] have more details, if you're not inclined to just take my word for it. -Hit bull, win steak(Moo!) 18:02, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] By the numbers
I heard he set the NL record for steals by a catcher in '98. How many? Jimmy the Greek 13:25, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Picture
We need the main picture to be one of him playing with the cubs with a clear image of his face.--Sonicobbsessed (talk) 02:59, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Numbers
You have 2 players listed on their pages with No. 18, but only 1 on the roster. On the player sites, you need one of them to have a blank number. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dshibshm (talk • contribs) 22:07, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Grisly ?
The piece states, “the unusual compound dislocation, which was initially misidentified as a fracture, was one of the most grisly injuries in recent baseball history.” Can anyone explain how this is not a very opinionated point of view? This type of tabloid prose is what makes Wikipedia so un-encyclopedic. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.79.62.16 (talk) 04:57, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
