[edit] Only Jason Griffith

Its only Jason Griffith the guy listed at imdb.com is the wrong person. Checkout his myspace page instead.ShadowSL 00:14, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

  • Yeah, I thought we had a thing saying Mike Pollock had confirmed there wasn't an "Anthony" in his name? 86.143.157.188 14:00, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pokemon?

Why is this labelled as being under a pokemon project? The bio doesn't state anything about pokemon.

He had a major supporting voice in Movie 8.

[edit] The other side?

I noticed that so many of the articles for the new Sonic voice cast mention fans negative reaction to the recasting. Shouldn't the article state the other side of the opinion? I know many who REALLY don't like either of them, and others who (myself is included in this) feel that while Jason isn't all that great, he delivers a better performance than Ryan. I guess what I am saying is that this article displays him in such a negative light and should be more neutral. Just my two cents...Rogzilla 00:36, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

What I saw at first was mainly negative reactions toward Jason (but still a few positive, both-are-good opinions, and both-are-bad opinions), but it seems like fewer people care now. A typical response is one of the two neutral opinions, like "I don't think either one is great". I'm thinking that it's just a typical response- extremely negative at first, but then barely anyone cares- just like when the name of Nintendo's "Revolution" was changed to "Wii". So what should be done with the article? Right now, it only mentions the negative response. It could be changed slightly to mention that many fans were angered at Sega's decision to hire Jason, but that a few preferred his acting. And if it can be confirmed, I think it should also be mentioned that the gamers are in general caring less or going from negative to neutral. -Marth

[edit] Year of Birth

He was born in 1981 because his myspace says he's 25

Not anymore. It states he's 26 now, thus since his 26th birthday was in 2006, his birthdate must be in 1980. - 84.65.132.148 11:56, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Picture

I noticed someone got rid of the picture of Jason that used to be here, should it still be on here? can someone put it back on?--Sonicobbsessed-The Self-Proclamed Ultamate Sonic Fan 23:39, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

Sure thing. --Coconutfred73 00:54, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

Done. --Coconutfred73 01:05, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] NPOV

Seriously, read the Controversy part. In it's current state it should be removed IMO. 80.126.32.62 18:39, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Yes. --Coconutfred73 20:03, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

No. In it's current state it should be left up until you can find evidence against it. Cotroversy DOES exist with his role as Sonic. You shouldn't need a source for that. Ask any Sonic fan who has played all or most of the games in the series. Or maybe we could take a poll.ThegreatWakkorati (talk) 13:38, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
Too bad it already is removed and should never be brought back. Worlder (talk) 23:09, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Controversity

Does that mean I can remove the controversity section?

I would agree so. Unless a reliable source or verifiable source comes along, I would say so. I have only found lesser known blogs, fan sites, and user reviews that comment on this. The cite tag has been there since May 2007. I am removing the NPOV tag as well. Spryde 17:25, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Adding on...
  • All Wikipedia articles and other encyclopedic content must be written from a neutral point of view (NPOV), representing fairly and without bias all significant views (that have been published by reliable sources).
  • NPOV says that the article should fairly represent all significant viewpoints that have been published by a reliable source.

Neither of these appear to be the case because of the lack of sources for this. And FYI, I have never played a Sonic game in my life so never knew about the actors in it. I just hit this article doing a random article run. Spryde 17:31, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

Why the sudden return of this disruptive section? Worlder (talk) 02:57, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Rayman?

Since when in the world did Jason voice Rayman? -- Sonickenshin —Preceding comment was added at 23:50, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

I don't know, it may be vandalism, i'll remove anything that claims this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.244.187.117 (talk) 18:40, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Article stubbified

This is notification that I have stubbified this article for constant violations of our policy on biographies of living individuals, in particular, large unsourced section about controversy, three month old tags on the page relating to verifiability. Some of the older diffs aren't too nice either.. I request that all editors do not revert, but work to include verifiable material. Will (talk) 19:27, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
