Is there any proof that Meddy's Japanese name is spelled "M-E-D-Y" (besides that picture, which I'm pretty sure is a typo). Every MegaMan.exe website I've been to spells it "M-E-D-I".--Covenant Elite 22:23, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

They aren't written in Japanese if that's what you meant, but they do refer to all the characters by their Japanese names. --Covenant Elite 01:50, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
Well, since that's a Japanese picture in the article up there, and those sites use VERY likely just their own interpretations; "Medy" stands.—urutapu 03:06, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
I now have proof that Meddy's Japanese name is "Medi". I saw a MegaMan episode with english subtitles and it is clearly spelled "Medi". Also I contacted some of those websites and they confirmed her name is "Medi", it was not their own interpretations. And there is no proof that image is Japanese. It's not fansubbed and its not a fan interpretation. Also it's spelled "Medi" on these two pages:

Just confirming, Meddy's Japanese name IS spelled "Medi". "Medy" is most likely a misspelling of her English name.--Neo Zeus 03:38, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Since Meddy is one of my favorite mega man characters I like the fact she has a page, but the question stands, how exactly are these two notable enough to have a page?

Well the two do play a big role in both the game and the anime. Given the amount of info already here, as well as the info I'm adding, I think it's notable enough.--Neo Zeus 03:38, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
