Jassy was a 1947 British film melodrama, based on a novel by Norah Lofts. Its plot involves Jassy, a wild gypsy girl (Margaret Lockwood) hired as a servant in a 19th century household who falls in love with and marries her master (Dennis Price), who then comes to a sticky end. Jassy is accused of his murder, but all is not as it seems.
