Jason Michael Weaver (born July 18, 1979) also known by his stage name J-Weav, is an American actor and singer perhaps most famous for his role as young Michael Jackson in the Emmy-winning 1992 miniseries The Jacksons: An American Dream.

It is a little known fact that Jason Weaver attended Illiana Christian High School in Lansing, IL. Jason Weaver also provided the singing voice for young Simba in the Lion King.

Weaver had a recurring role on Oprah Winfrey's 1990 television series Brewster Place. Weaver's most notable acting roles is his portrayal of Jackson 5-era Michael Jackson in the 1992 miniseries The Jacksons: An American Dream. He later was a cast member on the television sitcoms Thea (1993 - 1994) and Smart Guy (1997 - 1999). Weaver is in talks to play Johnny Gill in the Untitled New Edition Biopic

Weaver appeared in the films Summertime Switch (a 1994 telefilm) with Rider Strong, and Drumline (2002) with Nick Cannon. Recently, Weaver was featured in a supporting role in the 2006 film ATL starring rappers T.I. and Big Boi from OutKast. He also appears as an extra in the music video "Rock Yo Hips" by Crime Mob Feat. Lil Scrappy. He also plays an extra in Stomp the Yard in the Mu Gamma first step scene

Weaver is also a recording artist. His first album, Love Ambition, was released on Motown Records in 1995. His collaboration with Chingy, 2003's "One Call Away", was a Top 5 hit single in the United States.
