[edit] Playing career
[edit] Garforth Town
St Juste started his early career under the guidance of Simon Clifford at Garforth Town and became a graduate of the Leeds Brazilian Soccer School's program and was spotted by Football League Two side Darlington.
[edit] Darlington
St Juste made his second appearance for Darlington on January 3, 2005 as he played the full 90 minutes and helped the team to a 3-1 win over Macclesfield Town.
On March 19, 2005 Jason made his seventh appearance for Darlington in an away match against Grimsby Town. Jason scored his first goal for the club, a wonder-strike after 11 minutes, which proved to be the deciding goal of the game.
St Juste hit headlines by scooping a hat-trick of awards. He walked away with the young player of the season and both goal of the season awards for his wonder-strike against Grimsby Town and his breathtaking goal against Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Ground in the exciting three all draw.
By this time the name 'Jason St Juste' was hitting the headlines and was scouted by a host of clubs and after his refusal to sign a longer term deal after just one season, 15 appearances, and two goals.
[edit] Southampton
St Juste's contract expired and on the recommendation of Simon Clifford signed for Championship side Southampton on a free on September 12, 2005.
Unfortunately for St Juste his spell with Southampton was nowhere near as successful, and after making a handful of reserve outings but struggled to break into the first team setup and was released without making a single first team start, with manager Harry Redknapp claiming he didn't even want to sign St Juste in the first place.
St Juste hoped that his release from Southampton wouldn't be a major setback and started looking to gain trials with clubs. On January 25, 2006 Huddersfield Town manager Peter Jackson asked St Juste to train with the club, but his ability was nothing like the player seen at Darlington a season before, Jackson decided not to offer St Juste a contract.
[edit] Garforth Town
After almost a year out of the game and various failed trials, Simon Clifford bought St Juste back to Garforth Town on November 5, 2006 to help the club with their promotion push, and stated that youngster never got the chance he deserved.
