Jason David Ian Puncheon (born June 26, 1986 in Croydon, England) is an English professional footballer with Barnet.
The midfielder began his career with MK Dons before being released in January 2006. He moved to Underhill in June of the same year, after brief spells with Fisher Athletic and Lewes[1]. He is able to play on the left or right wing.
He was named FA Cup Player of the Third Round in 2007.[2]
He has begun the 2007-08 season in excellent form, scoring 10 times before New Year's Day, and has been linked with a move to Leeds United in the January 2008 transfer window. Manager Dennis Wise reportedly had a bid of £250,000 for the winger turned down.[citation needed]
Puncheon was named in the PFA League Two Team of the Year for the 2007-08 season. [3]
