Jason Matthews (born July 28, 1970 in Hackney, England) was a professional boxer in the super welterweight (154 lb) division.

As an amateur, Matthews was an ABA Middleweight Champion in 1995.

Also known as "Method Man", Matthews turned pro in 1995 and won the vacant WBO middleweight interim title on June 17th 1999 against Ryan Rhodes. He was elevated to full champion when original title holder Bert Schenk failed to defend against him because of longterm injuries. He lost the title in his first defense to Armand Krajnc by TKO in 1999 and retired after the bout.
