Jason Edward Lezak (born on November 12, 1975 in Irvine, California) is an American swimmer.

He is a member of the Irvine Novaquatics. He went to Irvine High School in 1994, then to University of California, Santa Barbara in 1999. He is 193 cm (6 ft 4 in) and weighs 93 kg (205 pounds). Lezak is specialist of 50 and 100 m freestyle races.

Lezak's first long-course international swimming gold medal was in 2003, when he won the 4×100 m medlay relay, setting new world record. He was also silver medal in the 4×100 m freestyle relay. In shourt-course swimpool he was five times world champion, all with relays apart from the 100 m single freestyle gold medal in 2004. Lezak has been also 7 times US Champion, 3 times in 50 m freestyle and 4 in 100 m freestyle.

He competed in several events at the 2004 Olympic Games, and was a member of the 4x100 metre medley relay team that set a new world record at the games. He also won a bronze medal in the 4×100 m freestyle relay, finishing only eighth in the 50 m freestyle single race.

In 2005 he was World Champion in the 4×100 m medley and freestyle relays with US national team.

As of 2007 Jason Lezak represents the Rose Bowl Aquatics swim club, in Pasadena, CA. The head coach, Jeff Julian is a long-time childhood friend.
