Career highlights

Jason Laycock (born November 11, 1984), is a player with the Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League. He was drafted from East Devonport, via the Tassie Mariners U18s, with selection 10 in the 2002 Draft.

Insiders at Essendon believe that Laycock remains a raw talent whose full potential is immense. Fans caught a glimpse of this potential on Anzac Day 2005 against Collingwood, in an exciting display in the ruck. This performance earned him the round five nomination for the NAB AFL Rising Star Medal. However, injury stalled his progress in the second half of the season.
