Jason Konopisos is an American award-winning[1] film and television actor/writer/director.
Konopisos was born in Virginia Beach, VA. His mother is of Greek descent, and his father is of Cuban descent.
Konopisos is related to celebrated artist Dino Konopisos, his grandfather is Radm. Konstantine Konopisos, and his uncle is the reclusive Muffopoulus Potterstiniki, the controversial Greek millionaire mogul. His grandmother Arlene Peck is related to actor Gregory Peck.
He owns a production company that produced film "The Waiter".[2]
Founded and runs the Konstantine Foundation[3] a government recognized non-profit charity organization that raises funds to develop a center to aid the community.
Konopisos' current roles include "Derek Davis" in the new film Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. He has also starred in TV shows such as "Prison Break" and "King of the Hill" and films such as "Chronicle of Purgatory: The Waiter",[4] "Idiocracy" and 20 other projects.
He has worked with such great actors as two time Oscar nominee Charles Durning and beloved character actor Glenn Morshower.
