Jason Jarrett (born September 14, 1979 in Bury) is an English professional footballer who plays in midfield for Oldham Athletic on loan from Preston North End. Prior to joining his current club, Preston, he played for Blackpool, Wrexham, Wigan, Stoke and Norwich. He had limited first-team opportunities at Carrow Road, and was loaned out twice, to Plymouth and then Preston.

He helped Preston push on to gain a place in the Championship play-offs, in which they lost 3-1 on aggregate to Leeds in the semi-finals. He later moved to Deepdale on a permanent basis.

In February 2007, he joined Leicester City on an initial one-month loan period.[1] He made his debut in Leicester's 2-0 victory at Portman Road against Ipswich Town. On 23 February, 2007, the loan was extended until the end of the season.

In October 2007 he was sent on loan to Queens Park Rangers, but only played 2 games.
