Jason Hatcher (born July 13, 1982, in Alexandria, Louisiana) is a current American football defensive end in the NFL who plays for the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at Grambling State University, and was selected in the third round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He was raised in Jena, Louisiana. He is a relative of Bryant Purvis, who was facing attempted murder charges as one of the Jena Six. Charges have since been reduced to aggravated battery.

On October 14, 2007 he recovered a fumble and returned it for a touchdown against the New England Patriots.
