Jason Aaron Hammel (born September 2, 1982 in Greenville, South Carolina) is a Major League Baseball pitcher who plays for the Tampa Bay Rays.
Hammel made his Major League debut on April 11, 2006 against the Baltimore Orioles.
Got his first victory as a starter on September 2, 2007 vs the New York Yankees.
Hammel's girlfriend is originally from Rhode Island.
