Jason Fairn

Jason Lawrence Fairn AKA "The Irish" (born May 7, 1978 in Vancouver) is a Canadian pioneer of mixed martial arts from Vancouver, British Columbia. Jason Fairn got his start at the age of five years old in the martial arts. Fairn emerged, becoming a world recognized martial artist and fighter, as well as one of the worlds most well known celebrity bodyguards.
Fairn's notable accomplishments in the world of mixed martial arts include his special event fight against Guy Mezger in UFC 4, winning the Extreme Shoot Heavyweight and Super Heavyweight belts, and winning three bare knuckle victories in 2004(in one night) being crowned Raw Combat II champion. Prior to his pro debut in UFC 4, Fairn had an undefeated record of 33 wins and no losses which 22 of were by way of knockout. Fairn is very active in charity fundraisers. In 2007 he performed a dangerous daredevil stunt where he unchained himself from the top of a speeding car with no driver.

Fairn began his martial arts career as a JiuJitsu practitioner at the age of five under the supervision of his father David Fairn in Vancouver, British Columbia. As he got older Fairn sought out other martial arts getting black belts in Karate, Tae Kwon Do, and eventually Brazilian JiuJitsu under Fabiano Iha in 2001. With his martial arts training and the instruction of his father (former R.C.M.P.), Fairn took his skills into executive protection. He is known for protecting such stars as Sharon Stone, Richard Gere, George Wendt, Tiffani Amber Thiessen, Mario Lopez, Cindy Crawford,Farrah Fawcette, Lolita Davidovich and Gene Simmons to name only a few.

Fairn is currently dating and was rumoured to be romantically linked to Tiffani Amber Thiessen and Sharon Stone in the mid 1990's. He has one brother David Russell Fairn. He received his black belt in Brazilian JiuJitsu from Fabiano Iha. He currently works as a celebrity bodyguard in Los Angeles and Vancouver. He is still actively fighting. He was born in Vancouver but lives and trains mostly in Los Angeles. His ring name was formerly known as "The Bonecracker", a name he earned in his amateur career by breaking two of his opponents femur bones with a leg kick. Fairn has been associated with Tito Ortiz since he is a former member of Team Punishment.
