[edit] Background
[edit] Message
The majority of the arguments he makes for chastity in speeches and books are rooted in Catholic doctrine, and have been approved by the Censor Librorum, certifying that his teachings are free of Catholic doctrinal or moral errors. Most of his arguments stem from themes of respect, pure love, and waiting for one's spouse while making it interesting to the youth.[citation needed]
Evert also makes arguments for chastity that are not rooted in Catholic doctrine, but from what he deems practical, citing Human papilloma virus (HPV), other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).[citation needed]
