Jason Clermont (born May 28, 1978 in Regina, Saskatchewan) is a professional Canadian football player with the British Columbia Lions. Clermont plays the slotback position for the Lions and wears jersey #82. Clermont is 6'2" tall, and weighs 230 lb (104 kg). During the offseason, Clermont works as a real estate agent in Regina for Royal LePage.

Clermont played high school football at Robert Usher Collegiate High School in his home town of Regina, Saskatchewan. Clermont played the quarterback and linebacker positions for his high school team.
Following high school, Clermont played for the Regina Rams of the CJFL. In 1999 the Rams joined forces with the University of Regina to make the jump to CIS and the Canada West conference. collegiately for the University of Regina Rams under coach Frank McCrystal. In 2006, Clermont returned to the University of Regina and completed his bachelor degree studies in Administration.

Clermont was drafted in the first round (4th overall) of the CFL Draft by the BC Lions in 2002. Clermont, playing the slotback position, contributed to the Leos immediately, and at the end of the season, was awarded the CFL's Most Outstanding Rookie Award.
In 2004, Clermont started all of the Lions' 18 regular season games and playoff games. He tallied 1,220 yards on 83 receptions, and caught 7 touchdown passes. He was awarded the Canadian Football League's Top Canadian Player award, was named to the Western Division All-Star team. Clermont was also named Top Canadian Player in the 2004 Grey Cup game.
During most of the 2006, Clermont was out with a torn MCL. He was injured when fellow teammate offensive lineman Rob Murphy fell on his leg with an accidental chop block. The incident happened in the first quarter of the Lions' season opening 45-28 win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He made his return on August 10th, 2006, and saw limited action in a 32-5 win against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
2007 CFL Most Outstanding Canadian, CFL Allstar, 86 catches 1158 yards and 7 tds.
