Jason Carter is an American football wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League. He was originally signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at Texas A&M.

Carter was an undrafted free agent following the 2006 NFL Draft. He signed with the Minnesota Vikings on May 3, 2006, where he spent most of his rookie season on the practice squad. Carter only saw playing time during the final game of the season against the St. Louis Rams, though he failed to make any receptions.
