Jason Beam (born March 18, 1973 in Great Falls, Montana, USA) is an artisan working in the Dark Art genre and has been working in the field of digital art since 1995.
The illustrative story-telling of classic macbre tales inermixed with a surrealistic sensuality have made his style popular among gothic and horror enthusiasts, having crossed over into commercial design applications for writers, musicians, feature film and entertainment industry clientele. (Specific clients are withheld in this article due to promotional concerns).
He also was credited as the Art Director for Timo Rose's 2007 feature film Barricade, as well as the 2007 feature film Fearmakers and Andreas Schnaas film Don't Wake The Dead
Jason Beam has shown in a variety of galleries, such as C Pop Art Gallery in Detroit as one of the artists in the traveling Carnivora Exhibit (LA in 2008, New York City in 2009), the DS Gallery in Philadelphia, Echo Gallery in Chicago, as well as exhibitions at the SpookyArt Charity Art Show and Charity Auction at Flashback Weekend. He has been a featured guest at the 2007 and 2008 Fangoria Weekend of Horrors and a special guest artist of Art Representative Les Barany at the 2008 Dirty Show Erotic Art Exhibit.
HIs work appears in a variety of movie posters and DVD packaging, and on various book covers in the Horror and New Age genres. His work The Heirophant is featured on the cover of Jonathan Maberry's 2008 Bram Stoker Award nominee 'Cryptopedia', along with various interior illustrations.
Currently, Jason Beam lives and works in Montana, in addition to his illustration studio, he is the Senior Art Director at Walker Design Group, a full-service advertising agency, and has been actively involved in a variety of non-profit organizations.
