[edit] Biography
Jason was born in Jasper, AL, graduated from Shelby County High School in Columbiana, Alabama and has a Bachelor's degree from UAB with a Major in English and a Minor in History. He currently lives in Prairie Village, KS a suburb of Kansas City with his wife and two sons. He is a cousin of the author Gustav Hasford, author of The Short-Timers, a parallel-perspective story taking place during the Vietnam War and wrote The Other Side to honour Gus, who was a combat consultant during the war and wrote the semi-autobiography The Short-Timers, which was later adapted into the film Full Metal Jacket.
Along with a brief return to Wolverine, Aaron will be the new ongoing writer on Ghost Rider [1]. The contract does not effect his work on Scalped, his creator-owned series for DC/Vertigo.
