[edit] Duplicate images uploaded

Thanks for uploading Image:Hilton basketball.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Hilton basketball.JPG. The copy called Image:Hilton basketball.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot (talk) 21:15, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:ISUcampanilelookingup.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:ISUcampanilelookingup.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 22:08, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Bessey Hall

I see that you just began an article with a blank slate. Please note that you should have a decent amount of information and material before beginning a page. To start coding, please use the sandbox or start a blank page inside your userspace and transfer the code to an article after it is completed for peer review. Blank articles with blank infoboxes may be considered as an empty or "author-blanked" article and may be nominated for speedy deletion regardless of possible future additions. Have a great day and Happy Editing! - Jameson L. Tai talkcontribs 06:41, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Bessey Hall

A tag has been placed on Bessey Hall, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. - Jameson L. Tai talkcontribs 06:42, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Coover Hall

A tag has been placed on Coover Hall requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
