[edit] Unspecified source for Image:B5 band.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:B5 band.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. cohesion 07:17, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 3RR warning for 2006 Atlantic hurricane season

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. As for the particular edit, Wikipedia is not a crystal ball, so we cannot speculate on whether names will be retired or not. A statement that "inactivity will certainly play a role" in the decision or that inactivity will reduce the chances of names being retired is still speculative, because a name or names may still be retired. Coredesat 02:40, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

I left the warning because you were closer to violating 3RR than he was. If he reverts on the main page again, he'll also get a warning. --Coredesat 03:07, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please stop altering Template:Roman

Why are you removing the span? Please stop. Mike Dillon 15:38, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

FYI, I've removed the font styling from {{Roman}} to keep it a purely functional template. I moved the styling to {{Year in other calendars}}. You were right to not want font styling in that template. Thanks for motivating the change.
P.S. Having __NOEDITSECTION__ on this page makes it hard to follow-up on a discussion. Mike Dillon 17:34, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The bell ringing needs to be more prominent

I did mention something under controversy. I think a section about bell ringing, including objections to it on the basis of causing severe pain to a large number of people, are an important aspect of the Salvation Army.

On Friday, I was unable to move because of the amount of pain being caused. The person with the bell just laughed at me. They are sadistic. If it wasn't for a good samaritan knocking over the kettle, I would have been frozen in pain for a good long time, holding my ears and hoping against hope that the sadistic bastard with the sonic assault weapon would stop.; —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lochlyn.Christante (talkcontribs) 02:07, 18 December 2006 (UTC).

[edit] WP:RM request for International Boxing Association

FYI, you formatted this and set up a discussion like a normal move proposal, but listed it in the 'uncontroversial proposals' section, which does not require a discussion. Please relist this in whichever section is appropriate. Thanks. Opabinia regalis 05:00, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

Well, it is an uncontroversial move, so I don't see what the problem is. JARED(t)  20:04, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
OK, it's done. Convenient as it would be, WP:RM people aren't mind readers; it's not obvious whether you intended it as a noncontroversial proposal or as a discussion proposal that you unintentionally listed in the wrong section. If someone has to look through the talk pages to guess which one you mean, that just makes the backlog worse, and it's bad enough as it is. Opabinia regalis 01:58, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
Sorry about the confusion! JARED(t)  20:06, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Change to Common.css

Per recent discussions, the way in which Persondata is viewed by Wikipedia editors has changed. In order to continue viewing Persondata in Wikipedia articles, please edit your user CSS file to display table.persondata rather than table.metadata. More specific instructions can be found on the Persondata page. --ShakingSpirittalk on behalf of Kaldari 01:20, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Excell help

Regarding that Excell sheet you asked help with on RD, I gave it a try, so tell me what you think. Here is the link

I did 1 - 4. As for marking I changed meaning of "P" to mean Partial and added "F" to mean Full payment. This was all just normal function I didnt touch any macros, but it looks like its working. Shinhan 16:48, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
