Hi, my name is Jarhed. This is an Internet Pseudonym, and I have many. I have been contributing to Wikipedia anonymously since it first came up on the 'Net. By Profession, I am a business application developer (I will write a Wiki article someday). I have been writing Internet software since 1995, and I was one of the first software developers at Perot Systems to write an Internet application. I made and lost a fortune during the Dot-com bubble, but it was all on paper, and I am long over it. I have said many times that it is the duty of every human being to put his or her professional knowledge on the World Wide Web where it can be crawled. I firmly believe this, and I could not agree more with the mission of the Wikipedia. I would go on, but I know that you have already drunk the Kool-Aid.

Some time ago, I registered on Wikipedia under my real name in order to contribute an original article. Unfortunately for me, I did this contemporaneously with the Seigenthaler incident, and you will forgive me if it scared the itshay out of me. Some of you Wiki-whateveryouares are psycho. I could just see you, standing on my doorstep with a chainsaw, demanding that I come out and debate your freedom of speech issue. I hope you will forgive me if I take a soupçon of effort to protect myself. I do not have to imagine the mayhem of which some of you freakazoids are capable.

I have a Master's degree in a business specialty, and like many of you, I am a talented researcher and a skilled business and technical writer. Like many of you, I am confident that I can research and contribute positively to this project in any manner I please. Also like you, I wish that I could earn more of my income from doing this, but really, there can only be one John Grisham.

In any case, I am registering again to contribute as I can and to ask a few questions of the regulars. Thank you for your consideration, and have a great day!
