Jarring EffectsFrench musical label based in Lyon, south-east of France. For more than a decade, the Jarring Effects guideline always have been clear : be independent, do it yourself, be creative and make the music you love, not the one radio or media corporations want you to. That's why Jarring Effects has been created on an associative basis. Today, the label still remains an association.

Jarring Effects is often associated with High Tone (electro-dub, Lyon, France), Ez3kiel (electro-Dub, Tours, France), but a lot of underground audio-activists had albums or songs released by the label, like L'Oeuf Raide, Interlope, Mr Orange, Löbe RDS, La Phaze, Le Peuple de l'Herbe, Twelve, Vox Populi, Superstoned (see the catalogue on their website to see them all), and the list constantly grows.

In 2006, Jarring will give birth to its 50th release, being one of the most influent independent musical label in Europe.
