Born Jarno Juhani Leppälä in 1979 in Seinäjoki, Finland, Jarppi is a member of The Dudesons. In Finland, he also goes by the nickname "Jarno2".
Around 2001, he along with Jarno Laasala, Jukka Hilden and HP Parviainen, the other "Dudesons" and for the most part, childhood friends, began filming the TV show which was originally seen on MoonTV before the network closed. Shortly after that, they all began touring and performed a live show along with the band, The Odorants -- during the Summer of 2002.
In 2005, Leppälä along with Hilden, made guest appearances on the MTV series Viva La Bam with Jackass star Bam Margera.
He was there along with the others at the 2007 Jussi Awards when they took home the Finnish Oscar for "Favorite Film of the Finnish Film Audience".
