Jarosław ("Jarek") Fojut (pron. IPA[jaˈrɔswaf ˈfɔjut] Yaróswav Fóyut; born October 17, 1987 in Legionowo, Poland) is a young Polish defender who plays football for Bolton Wanderers.

Fojut has played in a number of friendly matches for the Bolton first team, as well as in the Polish youth national team.

The defender made his first senior appearance for the club, coming on as a substitute (to replace Khalilou Fadiga), during the FA Cup Third Round 3-0 victory against Watford at Vicarage Road in 2006. His Premiership debut came in the 1-1 draw against Portsmouth at Fratton Park.

On August 31, 2007, deadline day, he signed a loan deal at Luton until January 1, 2008.[1] He made his debut for Luton in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy match against Northampton Town on September 4, 2007. He scored his first goal on November 27, 2007 in a 2-0 away win against Brentford in the FA Cup and followed that up a week later with his first league goal in a 1-1 tie away to Oldham Athletic.

Fojut garnered much praise during his loan spell, Luton manager Kevin Blackwell describing the young defender's performances as "colossal", however, his stay could not be extended, all loan players being required to return to their parent clubs when Luton was placed in administration.[2]
