Jarlath Regan is an Irish Stand up comedian. He began his stand up comedy career in 2003 and by the end of 2004 he had succeeded in getting to the finals of three major UK comedy newcomer awards, these are So You Think You're Funny, BBC New Comedy Awards & the Chortle Student Comedian Of The Year). Since then he has been written sketches and become a regular face on the Irish Stand up comedy circuit. In 2006 he performed as apart of the first ever Irish gala at Montreal Just for Laughs. He also appears on Scope, an Irish science television programme for teenagers as a fictional investigative journalist.
In 2007, he performed at the annual Cat Laughs Festival in Kilkenny and in the Edinburgh Festival in August.
