Jared Kushner

Jared Corey Kushner (born January 10, 1981), is an American businessman. He is the owner of the New York Observer and is active in his family's real estate investments.

Kushner is the son of the New Jersey real estate developer Charles Kushner.[1]
Kushner graduated from the Frisch School, a private, coed yeshiva high school in Paramus, New Jersey. He finished his undergraduate work at Harvard University in 2003. Prior to his admission, his father had donated $2.5 million to the university. [2]
He is now attending both the New York University Stern School of Business and the New York University School of Law.[3]
As of December 2007 Kushner was dating Ivanka Trump.[4] The couple split in April, 2008. [5]

In July 2006, at age 25, Kushner paid $10 million to purchase the New York Observer, a weekly newspaper popular with New York's well-educated elite.[6]
The younger Kushner inherited his fortune in real estate working with his father.[citation needed]

Kushner, along with his father and the rest of his family are major contributors to the Democratic Party and to some select Republican candidates. He has contributed over $100,000 to various campaigns.[citation needed]
