Jardinópolis is a city with approximately 40,000 inhabitants and municipality with 504.88 km² and the elevation is 590 m, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, near Ribeirão Preto. Jardinópolis is known as the most important center of distribution of mango in Brazil. The city has become famous because of the "Festa do Senhor Bom Jesus da Lapa" (The Kind Hearted Jesus of Lapa's celebration) religious event, that occours between July 27th and August 6th.
