Jardim do Mar

Jardim do Mar (Portuguese for the garden of the sea) is a parish in the western part of the district of Calheta in the Madeira Islands. The population in 2001 is 252, its density is 98.8/km² and the area is 2.55 km². It is located about 1 to 2 km from Calheta. It also accessed to a rarely used road linking to the mountains and Jardim Pelado to its east.
