Detail of a larger photograph, showing the volleysight on the Jarmann M1884. Source photograph at http://www.militaryrifles.com/Norway/MoreJarmann.htm

The image Jarmann volley sight.jpg is being linked here; though the picture is originally copyright I (WegianWarrior 00:28, 15 August 2005 (UTC)) feel it is covered by fair use because:

  1. No public domain image of the volleysight could be found or made.
  2. It is of significantly lower resuloution than the original image, as well as cropped to show just the feature discussed in the article, in other words the volley sight.
  3. The photo is used for informative and educational purposes only.

I, the uploader, also feels that the photo adds significant value to the article, as it makes it much easier to visualise the volleysight (a feature not present on any modern rifle that I, the uploader, is aware off). WegianWarrior 01:03, 15 August 2005 (UTC)
