[edit] Yen exchange rate
o_O since when is 100,000 yen $90? isn't that something closer to $800? or is the price in yen a mistake, i'm guessing... *edit* in fact, i'll go ahead and take off the last 0 off of those prices... so then that's more close to $90 and $180...-64.217.18.211
Yes - you are correct - the 100,000 is about $900 dollars. However, I recently found out that my wife is willing to pay $450 to have this done - so I wouldn't be surprised is some idiot is paying $900 for it - LOL. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pbigio (talk • contribs) 04:34, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] 180C?
180C? that sounds more like magma than hair... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.39.103.174 (talk • contribs) 18:20, August 7, 2005
Thats around 356f. Flat irons at hair salons reach temps over 400f. ~mr —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.192.164.12 (talk • contribs) 23:24, August 27, 2005
not encyclopedia-esque. It sounds like this was taken directly from a salon's site or something...

- That's because it was taken from this page. I have now removed it. If you think something might be taken from a website without permission, please check it out and remove it if necessary. — Indi [ talk ] 14:56, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Rewrite
Article needs to be rewritten, see Permanent wave for an example of what an article about a hair style should look like. This is basically a guide, and WP:NOT wikipedia is not a how-to guide.--Crossmr 03:15, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ironic Straightening?
I find it unlikely that someone named this hair treatment after a literary device. Should the article actually say it is also called "Ionic Straightening" rather than "Ironic Straightening" ?
- My guess is yes.--Crossmr 22:57, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Why "Japanese"???
Can someone explain why this process is called "Japanese", considering that (like most East Asians) Japanese people tend to have naturally straight hair which does not require straightening? Wombat1138 (talk) 14:56, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Is this an ad?
This reads a lot like an ad, or an infomercial.Saxophobia (talk) 15:20, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
