Japanese Association of Zoos and Aquariums

The Japanese Association of Zoos and Aquariums (JAZA) is an organisation for the Japanese zoo and aquarium community.
JAZA was established in 1939 as a voluntary organization. Currently, JAZA has 159 members of zoos and aquariums in Japan.
Its mission is to protect precious nature and animals. They offer the place of recreation with lives, environmental educations, conservation of wild lives and research of animals.
