Japan Challenge Tour

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Japan Challenge Tour is the official developmental golf tour run by the Japan Golf Tour Organisation. It has been in operation since at least 1999. The 2006 schedule features fourteen tournaments. One has a prize fund of 20 million Yen, two have prize funds of 15 million Yen and the others have prize funds of 10 million Yen. This is around a tenth of the level of prize money per event on offer on the main Japanese Tour, and the main tour also has a longer season.
