[edit] Chiara Ohoven

I see you have already found the announcement section on Portal:Germany. I have also listed the article at Portal:Germany/New article announcements, a slightly more permanent list that is not shown directly on the portal page and where also list new categories, templates, images, and stub articles can be listed. Please add your own new additions there. Thank you, and happy editing, Kusma (討論) 00:13, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Oh, and you should perhaps try to link to your article from some other articles. Kusma (討論) 00:17, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Oh, thanks for the welcome note. Usually I'm quite busy at de:, but I'll try and contribute a translation here every now and then. As for Miss Ohoven, I wouldn't know whence to link her (Maybe there's a gossip portal hidden away somewhere). Greetings from Berlin,--Janneman 00:23, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

--Janneman 21:35, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Gunnar Andersen split

FYI. I have split the ski jumper Gunnar Andersen and moved it to Gunnar Andersen (ski jumper) earlier today. Happy New Year! Chris 15:57, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

Hiya and thanks, I didn't do it myself because apart from the fact that the other Andersen was World Champion once there was no further information to be had on the net. But then, that's not a problem on the English Wikipedia...Happy New Year to You, too --Janneman 17:28, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Portugese empire map

I have no skin in whether the map is any good or not. I am just going around reviewing dubious edits from a particular user, when he removes things, those removals are suspect. The map discussion page seems to make a good case for it having some validity though. But as I say, I don't have any skin in the game... still, thought you should know. ++Lar: t/c 21:18, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ernest Emerson

Attempts to have this egregious bit of puffery deleted have been stymied at every point latterly by an Admin. Would you please support the request for the AdD reinstatement at her page; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Fang_Aili#Ernest_Emerson_Deletion Thanks Albatross2147 04:02, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] March 2008

Please do not attack other editors. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Here: [1] - You called people "dunces". That is unacceptable. Please try and comment on content, not contributors ScarianCall me Pat 15:41, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

It looks like Orwell's nightmare, it quacks like Orwell's nightmare... so maybe it is. PDD 21:23, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

I tend to ignore anything cryptic or non-linear on Wikipedia. Despite your explanation it's still not nice to call people dunces. Hopefully you'll refrain from that in the future. Thanks buddy. ScarianCall me Pat 00:21, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Would "blatantly incompetent" be a "nice" way of saying in no uncertain terms that abf isn't exactly fit to be an admin here, at commons, or in fact anywhere? If not, I hope you'll be so kind as to point me towards the appropriate wikipedia-approved euphemisms. --Janneman (talk) 01:35, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
when exactly did "be nice" become a rule on wikipedia? --Snottily (talk) 01:54, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Well, if you ignore "anything non-linear", then maybe Wikipedia is not the right place for you? Maybe there's a Forum on Disney Channel or Stormfront, which would suit you better? Fossa?! 02:01, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
